In this blog, I share stories, photos and info from my bicycle trips which include Washington, DC to Chiapas, Mexico; DC to NYC and back; DC to Pittsburgh; Austin, TX to Brownsville, TX; and currently, Cancun, Mexico to Natal, Brasil.
Photo of some of the firemen at the D'Iberville, Mississippi. As I write this post, I am in New Orleans, and despite the destruction in parts of the city, the place is unlike any other, and I can see why they want to save this place.
Hi PJ Our phone service and by default our email hasn't been working for the last month so I haven't been keeping up with your journey over the last few weeks. Sounds like you are having experiences you will take with you in mind, body and spirit! As I rode my bike to church Sunday I prayed for you and each up hill I dedicated to your trip and your purpose. peace - Mimi
While you're traveling south there are lots of signs of "north" here in Wisconsin. A thick carpet of crunchy leaves on the ground, foggy cool mornings, and a lot of birds in the air honking and heading south just like you! Luck and love to you.

Saw you in the NOLA riding down Royal street.
If you're still in town, you should race me from Franklin to Canal. It'd be a blood-battle.(because bike-delivery chicks are hardcore competitors).
Keep on pedalin'.
